PARTS SALES REPRESENTATIVE – Portland, OR
Pacific Golf & Turf is the Northwest’s premium supplier of John Deere and EZGO Golf Cart products to Golf Course and Sports Turf facilities. We are seeking an experienced Parts Sales Representative who has a commitment to customer service and an aptitude for sales. We have an awesome opportunity for the right individual!! Successful candidate will be an outgoing and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with customers and developing new customer relationships. We are looking for someone that is a TEAM player who is honest, dependable, organized, motivated and a self-starter for this position. This is an entry-to-mid-level sales position that has unlimited opportunity with a growing business!

General Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Sell parts for all associated product lines to customers by phone or walking into the store
  • Call potential new customers to understand and gain their business
  • Work with management to understand opportunities in the market
  • Fill parts requests for service technicians and sales reps
  • Use computerized inventory systems, parts libraries and cad drawings to look up and process parts orders
  • Order parts from suppliers and communicate lead times
  • Participate in rolling inventory checks
  • Assist in shipping and receiving duties
  • Speak clearly and persuasively in a positive manner when interacting with customers
  • Must be willing to work 40 hours per week and longer hours as required to meet customer and seasonal demands
  • Assist in keeping parts department clean, including desk, warehouse, shipping receiving, etc.
  • Some travel may be required (at most, local calls once per week), but main duties are at the Corporate Location in Portland
  • May perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualification Requirements:
  • John Deere equipment parts experience, preferred
  • 2 years of automotive parts or sales experience required
  • HS diploma or equivalent; College degree, preferred
  • General office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, typing 45 wpm and general knowledge of a 10-key calculator CRT/Data Entry.
  • Clean driving record and insurable
  • Ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to solve practical problems and ability to read/interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Successful candidate will have a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a team
Salary: Depends on experience
Full-time
Hours: Day Shift, M-F, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Occasional weekends and overtime if needed

RETAIL & COMMERCIAL SALES REP – Spokane, WA
Pacific Golf & Turf has an awesome opportunity for the right individual!! We are an established company that strives to be the best at taking care of our customers. We are a Regional Equipment Distributor seeking an inside Sales & Marketing Associate to be responsible for sales related to Retail, Commercial and Industrial products for EZGO and Cushman in the territory. The position will handle all aspects of the sales process of new and used equipment.

General Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Create a welcoming environment by greeting customers and guests with assistance during their visit to the branch
  • Handle sales for walk-in customers by presenting the products, providing product information, pricing and completing the sales process
  • Drive sales by prospecting and selling over the phone, logging interactions within Salesforce
  • Maintain and grow business with key accounts
  • Maintain showroom inventory on line, for all locations
  • Receive and process requests for product revisions online for company website, for all locations
  • Assist with product shows or customer events
  • Answer phone calls coming in to the Spokane Sales Line, directs callers to appropriate department or employee
  • Manage front desk functions, such as handling the mail and package deliveries
  • Performs general office functions: copies, scans, faxes, distributing documents, maintain office supplies, general filing and recordkeeping
  • Administrative duties assisting other departments, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
  • Sales of equipment experience preferred
  • Associates degree or more preferred
  • Successful candidate will have a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a team

TURF EQUIPMENT SALES REP (GOLF) – Snohomish, WA
Pacific Golf & Turf, the John Deere Golf Maintenance Equipment Distributor for the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii is seeking a Professional Sales Representative responsible for the sale / leasing of new, and used equipment primarily to golf courses. Responsible to meet customer’s needs and grow market share, while maintaining acceptable levels of gross profit and attaining sales unit targets within an assigned territory. We are looking for the right person for our TEAM. Some details and responsibilities for the position are:

  • Location: Snohomish, WA Territory: Western/N. Central Washington
  • Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms, prepare contracts and record and close orders
  • Grow and develop customer relationships and loyalty to increase market share
  • Sell / Lease equipment working with Parts / Service Associates to be a customer solution and build long term relationships with assigned accounts to maximize customer and company profitability
  • Responsible for securing equipment orders by: demonstrating equipment, assisting in technical presentations, offering consultative assistance in areas of machine specifications, attachments, etc. based on customer type and individual applications of machinery
  • Manage and control sales related expenses
  • Meet or exceed Company targets for units, dollars and gross profit
  • Work with customers and potential customers to provide solutions to their equipment needs
  • Provide on-site expertise for demonstrations, machine inspections and technical support
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date call logs, prospect lists and mileage information
  • Provide status report to sales manager as to achievement of goals and objectives
  • Attend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and industry trends
  • Provide feedback to other departments
  • Maintain a customer information database for designated territory
  • Make frequent opportunity calls and generate new customers

  • The candidate must have proven sales skills, communication skills, must be willing to travel and able to deliver demo equipment with a pickup truck and trailer.

    A background in turf maintenance / management a plus.

    Education: college degree is preferred.
